Grand Rapids Michigan is renowned for creating beautiful, high quality furniture and this breakfront/secretary by the Baker Furniture Company is an excellent testimonial to that reputation.  This piece is made from beautifully figured mahogany in the Colonial Revival style.  The top of this of this breakfront/secretary has adjustable shelves with plate grooves.  Whether you choose to fill the top with books, plates or small collectibles they will be properly protected and visible through the mullion hand glazed glass doors.  The base of this piece consists of two doors and five spacious drawers.  The top center “drawer” pulls out and presents a leather desk top with drawer and compartments.  Due to the smaller stature of this piece there are endless possibilities for placement in any home.
