Circa 1890, this classically styled antique crystal chandelier includes many features typical of Italian craftsmanship. The iron frame is gold leafed, providing a rich base for the lovely glass elements. Glass beading along the arms and frame accentuates the multiple swags of these same beads. Delicate glass bobeche create transparent bases for the 18 candle lights. The teardrop prisms cut into an unusual shape offer a different look to this antique light fixture.
